Approvals

Create Approval Request

Via App launcher:

Log in to MyPrism and open the App Launcher. Go to the Action module and click on Approvals. Select Create Approval and fill in the Title, Description, Approvers, Due Date, Business Function, and any linked entities (e.g., Action, Goal, KPI). Click Save to find your request in the Request Raised tab.

From Actions Or Boards:

Go to Actions/Boards, view list of actions. Click on any action to update open in the split view. Click on the Action ID to view it on full screen. Look for Approvals and Decisions sections. Click on Add against the Approvals. Approval creation screen appears. Capture Title, Description, Approvers, Due Date, Business Function. Click Save to find in the Approvals list already linked to the Action.

From Meetings:

On the meeting minutes screen, locate the Approvals section. Click on Add button against Approvals. Approval creation screen appears. Capture Title, Description, Approvers, Due Date, Business Function. Click Save to find in the Approvals list already linked to the Meeting.

Update Approval Request

Log in to MyPrism and go to Approvals under the Action module. In the Request Received tab, select an Approval Request to update. Open the full view via the Approval ID and edit fields like Title, Status, Approvers, Due Date, Description, or linked entities. Add/ edit comments; changes are autosaved.

Reject / Approve Request

Log in to MyPrism and go to Approvals under the Action module. In the Request Received tab, select a request. Open the full view by clicking the Approval ID, then update the Status to Approve or Reject. The requester will be notified via email and on MyPrism.

Note: Only approvers can change the status.

Withdraw / Delete Request

Log in to MyPrism and go to Approvals under the Action module. In the Request Raised tab, find your requests. Select a request and click Delete, then confirm.

Note:

  1. You can only delete approval requests that you have created

  2. Approvals added from screens like Action Update or Meetings can only be deleted from the Approvals screen

Send Reminder on Approval Request

Log in to MyPrism and go to Approvals under the Action module. In the Request Raised tab, select one or more requests. Click Send Reminder to notify approvers via email and on MyPrism.
